My love of Dahlia's began back in Ballarat about 6 years ago when I was introduced to them by my 93 year old neighbour Minnie. Whilst Minnie had an array of colours, I started with just 2 white tubers. This has now multiplied ten fold but still all white, I will endeavour to get more adventurous and source a few more different varieties and colours for next season though.

Wow - what a humbling evening, surrounded by the best of the best at the National Gallery of Victoria. So many talented designers and architects, all with amazing clients and brief and lots of COLOUR, COLOUR, COLOUR.

Even got to meet the dog, her name was Penny! Congratulations to all the winners from the evening and to Dulux - what a great night.

I'm hoping this helps to put Ballarat on the design scene, the food scene is definitely there and the commercial & hospitality design scene is following.

As a designer it's hard not to become all consumed in a project and ride the waves with the client and then you step away.
