Family Bathroom Refresh

From a small dark and dated bathroom that had seen it's time to a light fresh space with enough room for 3 busy kids. Two heated towel ladders as one is just never enough, underfloor heating, double basins for the morning school rush, plenty of storage provided in easy access drawers and mirrored medicine cabinets and a towel cabinet within the space. A skylight for beautiful natural light, also means less electricity.

The transformation of Lola...

Lola was given life with detailed handprinted joinery, texture, wallpaper, selected lighting and of course colour. This was a full team effort to take it from where it was, see below, to where it is now in such a short space of time. Working with owners Gorgi & Simon Coghlan and Drew Harry and bring in newcomer to the styling scene Genevieve Manley - oh what fun we had!

A love seat is given some love

We hate to see perfectly good and original furniture go to waste, so am always looking for ways to give it a new lease on life. Especially rattan - we just love rattan!

Fireplace revamp

Before - old timber art deco fireplace

After - lowered mantle to create space between picture rail and top of mantle, painted in Dulux Berkshire White, original blue tiles revealed

Kitchen, mudroom, entry and ceiling revamp

Small timber kitchen removed, demolish wall into a cold living space that wasn't being utilised to create a kitchen space for a family of five. Timber panelled ceiling painted white between the beams to lighten the space. Disused and uninviting study space turned into a mudroom and butlers pantry and linked to kitchen to create a convenient connection from garage through to kitchen. The spaces now create a lovely warm and inviting backdrop for the clients collection of antique french furniture.
